Air Quality Consultant
Join ERM’s expanding Air Quality team in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth or Melbourne, where you'll play a key role in delivering impactful environmental solutions. As the world’s largest sustainability consultancy, ERM works on diverse projects, from local Australian initiatives to global collaborations, in air quality assessments, emission inventories, and regulatory reporting.
Your Role:

Support the development of air emission inventories, dispersion modelling, and regulatory reporting

Prepare technical reports, proposals, and tenders for high-profile projects

Collaborate with industry experts, gaining exposure to both local and international projects
-
Utilize your expertise to help clients reduce their environmental impact and ensure compliance
What We’re Looking For:
-
Degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
-
2–5 years of experience in air quality or environmental consultancy
-
Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (R Studio, MATLAB, or Python is a bonus)
-
Experience running dispersion models (e.g. CALPUFF, AERMOD, GRAL) and meteorological models (e.g. WRF, TAPM, CALMET)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to simplify complex concepts

A proactive approach, able to work independently as well as part of a team
