What You'll Do
- Execute risk-based control testing to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Document test plans, execution, and results within governance, risk, and compliance systems, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.
- Analyze testing outcomes to identify trends, control gaps, and opportunities to improve program effectiveness.
- Produce clear, structured workpapers and reports that communicate findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and business teams to identify high-risk areas and support assurance coverage priorities.
- Support the development and enhancement of testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Advise on remediation efforts by recommending control enhancements and validating evidence of issue resolution.
- Contribute to broader compliance and risk initiatives, supporting consistency and operational effectiveness across the program.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or a related field, with hands-on experience in control testing or assurance activities.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a practical way.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data, identify risks, and translate findings into clear insights.
- Experience documenting testing activities, evidence, and results within governance, risk, and compliance tools.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability, and strengthening risk and compliance processes.
