Where the team fits in
This role sits within the Finance and Business Services Group (FaBS). The FaBS team is the engine room of REA Group. The team brings together Finance, Workplace Experience & Procurement, Investor Relations and Corporate Development.
This cross functional group of specialists provides strategic commercial input and guidance for decisions across the business, while continually improving the “behind the scenes” of REA to support our people, drive efficiencies and maximise customer satisfaction.
What the role is all about
The Senior Commissions and Incentives Manager is the leader across the execution of sales commissions and incentives at REA. You’ll own the evolution, design, delivery and reporting of sales incentives to deliver best-in-class sales commission programs across multiple sales teams and roles, continually evaluating and recommending changes to both long and short-term incentive programs to drive positive revenue and customer sentiment outcomes.
While no two days are likely to be the same in this role, typical responsibilities and activities will include:
Own sales commissions evolution, design, delivery and reporting to achieve best-in-class sales commission programs across multiple sales team and roles.
Lead short and midterm sales incentives design, delivery and reporting to drive positive revenue outcomes aligned with strategic business priorities
Accountable for the annual sales rewards program (All Stars) – including design, delivery and reporting – to support revenue outcomes and recognise high performance across sales teams
Work directly with the Customer Group Leadership Team and National Sales Directors to ensure incentives frameworks support business and customer goals
Collaborate with the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations to optimise how sales teams perform in relation to overall business performance
Ensure metrics and definitions are consistent and clearly understood across the group
Own Sales performance KPI tracking and insights, defining best-in-class benchmarks of sales performance
Present insights and communicate clear recommendations based on analysis of performance and incentives data

An analytical approach – you enjoy getting “on the tools” to validate business decisions with data and insights, simplifying large data sets into robust dashboards and clear messages
Experience using Performio, Salesforce and Tableau is highly desirable. We’re open to experience across other similar tools
Great presentation skills, you’ll be confident sharing insights and recommendations with senior leaders and sharing program updates with sales teams
A proactive mindset – you like to bring solutions to the table, often before others have realised there’s a problem to be solved!
