Play a pivotal role in supporting the financial & commercial management of projects. Including analysing project costs, budgets, and commercial risks to ensure projects meet financial targets and contractual obligations.

What you will do:

  • Preparation of monthly commercial and financial reports including benefits tracking, key performance indicator reporting, capex tracking and project forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation related to projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, commercial teams, and finance to provide timely financial insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in identifying commercial risks and opportunities and support mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and analyse project budgets, costs, and forecasts to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Utilize project management and financial software to track and report commercial metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparation of Business cases as required. This will include consultation with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that the input is as accurate as possible.
  • Support contract administration, review terms & conditions, and assist with setting up new vendors.
  • Participate in financial close-out activities and post-project reviews.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Proven experience in a commercial analyst, project finance, or project control role
  • Strong analytical, numerical mindset & proficiency in financial analysis & modelling.
  • Experience using D365, Monday.com software preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal & external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of contract law and commercial management principles advantageous.
