• We’re driving a transformation in how cloud platforms are designed, consumed, and evolved across the organisation. We’re looking for a high-performing and visionary platform designer to shape the future of our cloud ecosystem.

• You will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and reusable cloud platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver faster, safer, and with greater autonomy. This role is critical to our cloud adoption and platform maturity strategy.

We're interested in hearing from people who

• Have a proven track record working in a public cloud environment; AWS would be advantageous.

• Are passionate about Cloud/DevOps/Automation and possess a keen interest to solve complex problems in a systematic approach.

• Have strong communication skills and can interact with all levels of stakeholders confidently.

Technical Skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

Platform Design Expertise

• Experience designing cloud-native platform capabilities across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, and SaaS hosting models.

• Familiarity with platform product management, service blueprinting, and developer experience design

Technical Fluency

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).

• Understanding of cloud scripting languages (YAML, Shell, PowerShell, AWS CLI).

• Awareness of modern application patterns (REST APIs, containers, serverless)

Collaboration & Influence

• Strong communication and facilitation skills across engineering, product, and risk teams.

• Experience working in agile environments (Spotify model or similar).

• Ability to translate business needs into platform capabilities and technical requirements
