The Marketing and Corporate Affairs Strategy, Operations and Technology Centre of Excellence is part of the broader MCA team. Our purpose is to drive the strategic direction setting approach for the function and to enable our teams to achieve excellence now and in the future by providing technology, processes and tools aligned to the MCA technology and operations roadmap. The role will report to the MCA Change Lead. 

Do work that matters

The Senior Change Manager will work with the MCA Change Lead to provide end to end change management support for the amended Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA) Enforceable Undertaking (EU) across the Group. This EU follows the previous EU agreed between CBA and the ACMA, which applied to commercial electronic messages sent from the Customer Engagement Engine (CEE). Under the amended EU our primary focus is on the policies, procedures and systems used to send electronic messages, including compliance and service messages sent via systems other than the CEE. 

The role will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.

Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and execute effective strategies and plans to manage the people impact of changes
  • Support the identification, management and engagement of internal and external stakeholders, as well as resolution of stakeholder risks and issues
  • Support change transition and adoption through communications, engagement, coaching, training and tracking metrics
  • Support the development of change artefacts, including change impact assessments, change plans, communications plans, training plans and business readiness assessments
  • Design and develop change documentation as required

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

  • Experience delivering organisation wide regulatory change
  • Experience developing and delivering training
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and the value of change management within a project
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve deadlines and prioritise effectively
  • Demonstrated experience developing change management deliverables
  • Knowledge and understanding of the various impacts of change and business drivers
  • Proactive, positive attitude, self-starter who takes ownership to drive toward an optimal outcome
