What You Will Get to Do:
As a Sr Business Systems Analyst, you will lead and empower a cross-functional team—including architects, business analysts, developers and QA—using best-practice methodologies to ensure delivery aligns with agreed timelines, quality standards, business objectives, and governance measures. In this role, you will also be responsible for engaging client and business stakeholders.
- Assessing, validating and mapping the data requirements and ensuring that analysis standards and practices are met.
- Analysing and validating business and system solutions and contributing to other written requirement deliverables necessary to increase the business value and/or ensure quality of services and solutions.
- Production of data load specification, data mapping documentation and user stories including detailed acceptance criteria to support successful outcomes.
- Assure solutions adhere to requirements through the development and testing lifecycle through trusted partnerships with developers, testers and business stakeholders.
- Workshop requirements facilitation and solution demonstration ‘play back’.
- Requirement Traceability and change management.
- Support of the cross functional delivery team throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date, version-controlled, and audit-ready.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of business analyst experience in Superannuation Wealth Management, Transfer Agency, Investments or Software delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills across all enterprise levels.
- Strong experience facilitating workshops with a range of stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, definition, traceability, and management across different delivery methodologies
- Strong skill and experience in business process analysis, process improvement and process modelling.
- Exceptional experience in SQL server, data migration and reconciliation process.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Client-focused mindset, fostering collaboration across teams.
- Excellent communication skills, articulate and persuasive.
- Highly motivated, proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Calm and assertive under pressure, ensuring effective problem-solving.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide business analysts and project teams.
