About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Insight Analyst to join our Business Excellence team. This role will partner with our expanding Specialty business unit to provide analytical input and guidance to support decision making, measure business performance and help drive our multi-channel marketing strategy and capability.

The role will include:

  • Management of sales forecasting and demand planning through market analysis in support of brand teams across a business unit
  • Development of business insights tools for Marketing and Sales effectiveness in partnership with the Business Insights Cross functional team.
  • Collection of business requirements within your business unit and working cross functionally with the Insights, marketing and sales teams to create and implement new insights and tools to generate a competitive advantage
  • Support our enterprise insights team in the development of Performance reporting at a company and brand level to drive performance management within GSK

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong experience in forecasting and review of market data to support in core planning cycles with a focus on forecast accuracy and market insights
  • Extensive background as a Senior Analyst role within a large, complex business with a passion for data analytics
  • Pharmaceutical and specialty experience essential
  • Previous product launch experience
  • Experience as the primary point of accountability as a senior analyst within a business unit
  • Advanced Excel and Forecast modelling experience
  • A working knowledge of sales, digital and customer data
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into a suitable format for a non-technical audience. Turning insights into simplified business guidance
  • A good ability to leverage data provider relationships
