To understand the business requirements for the functionality and ongoing performance of group IT applications and to help ensure that these are translated into systems that meet the needs of their user community. To be the functional expert in the relevant group IT applications. To work with in house developers and third party teams to ensure requirements are fully understood. The Business Analyst will have end to end responsibility of gathering requirements to ensuring the requirements are delivered as per specification, system testing, assisting with user acceptance testing, feeding back test results, documenting issues found pre and post go live or development deliverables.
