Job Description

The Finance Senior Business Analyst will be part of a dynamic team focused on ensuring high-quality, reliable financial data through strong governance practices. The role involves managing core responsibilities of the Finance Data Management team, particularly around master data operations, to maintain data accuracy and support finance functions. The analyst will use their skills to understand existing master data structures, hierarchies, and mappings, and lead initiatives to improve these processes using modern technology solutions.

  • Implement Finance Data Management strategies, including automating the Finance Mapping Solution.

  • Define business and technical data requirements to support Finance Data Management initiatives.

  • Evaluate data changes and their effects on existing Finance processes, including the General Ledger, hierarchies, and mappings.

  • Review and approve updates to general ledger dimensions, hierarchies, and Finance mappings to ensure data integrity.

  • Assist in investigating and resolving mapping-related issues.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst on medium to large projects.

  • Background in finance or accounting, with exposure to financial management and process improvement.

  • Skilled in developing and executing UAT test scenarios.

  • Experience working with Finance General Ledgers.

  • Proficient in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Cognos, TM1) and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
