AKQA Senior Designers are creative leaders, passionate about pushing the boundaries of ideas and design. Your focus will be on elevating design within projects, shaping the visual language of our clients' brands. You’ll identify and create opportunities for AKQA to deliver exceptional design solutions. You’ll be a design advocate and a source of inspiration for the team, driving creative excellence and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate about design, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how to elevate and bring concepts to life.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Manage multiple projects and work across multiple disciplines simultaneously.
- Contribute to conceptual exploration, establish design direction, and ensure successful implementation through production.
- Translate business, marketing, and strategic objectives into compelling
- Conceptualise and deliver original designs for various platforms and formats.
- Collaborate closely with account services, copywriters, strategists, and other creative team members.
- Mentor and guide Junior Designers.
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in an agency or in-house environment.
- Strong conceptual creative thinking and a passion for design.
- Proficiency in design software: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, Keynote. Basic HTML knowledge. Mac/PC proficiency.
- Understanding of information architecture and its translation into design.
- Excellent visual, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Experience in client relationship building and exceeding client expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of interpreting client briefs and contributing to client development.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Passionate about digital and its possibilities.
- Knowledge of emerging design technologies.
