In essence, a Senior Backend Engineer in MoneyLion is not just a coder but a multifaceted professional who plays a key role in shaping the technological direction and success of their team.
This role is onsite 3 days a week out of our New York City office.About You:
- Experienced in Python/Django, or any other OOP languages such as C#.NET, or PHP.
- Experienced in any relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL.
- Experienced in non-relational databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, or CosmosDB.
- Experienced in web APIs of reasonable complexity.
- Familiar with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- You have a Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 5+ years of experience building and developing software would be preferred.

Python, Django, Java, Spring Boot, Scala, Nodejs, ES6, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
The annual base salary for this role is between $180,000 - $200,000 per year. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
