We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based automation frameworks and hands-on experience testing payment switches such as Connex or Base24. The ideal candidate will have exposure to mainframe systems and a proven track record of delivering high-quality automated testing solutions in the financial services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Java frameworks.
- Perform end-to-end testing of payment switch applications (Connex, Base24, or Java-based switches).
- Validate transaction flows, settlement processes, and card authorization systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage across functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
- Work with mainframe systems to support testing activities and troubleshoot issues.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or similar).
- Proven expertise in testing payment switches (Connex, Base24, or Java-based).
- Experience with end-to-end testing in the credit card/payments domain.
- Exposure to mainframe systems (preferred).
- Solid understanding of transaction processing, card authorization, and settlement workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
