About the Role

As an Senior Associate on the ANZ International New Verticals S&O team supporting Dasher Efficiency, you’ll focus on supporting key functions in the area of cost efficiency across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail verticals. You'll be incredibly close to the end-to-end Dasher experience, helping launch and manage key cost and quality initiatives, diving into data to identify trends and root cause any issues, pulling insights that will inform operational and product strategies, designing experiments to help improve in-store pick efficiency,  and developing action plans to improve dasher supply available for different delivery types within New Verticals all while working with a wide array of cross-functional teams like account management, product, engineering, finance, analytics, and operations.

You will report into the ANZ New Verticals General Manager.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
  • Strategize – From first principles, you’ll design the optimal dasher efficiency strategy for the ANZ New Verticals business—balancing world-class customer/ dasher experience with sustainable cost structures.
  • Operate – Own tracking dashboards and manage week-over-week metrics for the various components of Dasher Efficiency.  You'll identify drivers of trends and develop plants to improve results.  
  • Analyze – Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate the economic, operational, and strategic impact of different initiatives—helping shape data-driven decisions that balance business costs with customer order quality.
  • Experiment – Turn strategy into action by designing and running operational experiments that test cost levers, efficiency features, and quality improvements—delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Build – Be a foundational part of DoorDash’s next big business. You’ll help launch new products and processes that drive down costs, optimize efficiency, raise quality standards, and scale something completely new—from vision to execution.
  • Lead, Collaborate, and Influence – Work cross-functionally with teams across growth, quality, marketing, partnerships, and product to build and scale our New Verticals business—shaping how we deliver both exceptional quality and affordability at scale.
