We’re looking for senior leaders who can help run a shift like clockwork, keep the team sharp, and make the guest experience top notch every time. As a Senior Assistant Manager with ALH, you’ll be the right hand to the Venue Manager, trusted to take the reins, make the calls, and keep the place humming.

This isn’t just about pouring beers and calling orders. You’ll be managing operations across bar, bistro, and gaming, leading and coaching the crew, and keeping service standards high, even on the busiest nights. You’ll know how to balance the books, juggle rosters, and still have time for a laugh with the locals.

We want people who are confident under pressure, quick to solve problems, and proud to set the tone for the shift. A solid hospo background is essential, but it’s your leadership and people skills that will make you stand out.

A day in the life of an Senior Assistant Manager:

• Motivate and inspire the team to deliver a genuine and ‘local’ guest experience
• Champion team coaching and mentoring, Guest and Team initiatives and day to day pub operations
• Proactively activate local events and support the Venue Manager to develop & drive marketing initiatives
• Build a responsible service culture that is centred around fun, passion and authenticity, encouraging your team and guests to come as they are!

About you:

• You have great hospitality leadership and operational experience with positivity and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You have contagious passion when it comes to the guest experience and to inspire, coach and develop your team
• You hold current industry RSA and RSG qualifications as per state requirements
• RMLV
