Job Summary
Join our Middle East and Africa team as a Application Engineer and use your engineering skills and Fisher Software to prepare engineering solutions for Control valves to both EPC KOB2 projects/Regional MRO business support for our clients/sales offices. You will also be responsible for preparing techno-commercial offers and addressing technical queries.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Understand KOB2 projects/MRO RFQ’s (Assembly, Parts, Instruments) and prepare guideline/Quote meeting all customer requirements.
Clarify doubts on technical specifications/project guidelines/TBE query through conference calls with Sales office/impact partner/FCEC senior Engg.
Able to review project specifications and contribute to project guidelines form.
Understand and document LBP/Customer specific guidelines for quotations.
Prepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list and generate reports and drawings.
Correspond with LBPs/Sales offices as and when required for any clarifications to maintain a good relationship.
Provide support on quote revisions from customers.
Support Sales office after the issue of PO and prepare transaction for order entry.
Provide technical support for OE /factory clarifications and assist with change orders.
Established as one of the contact points for specific Sales/LBP to send projects.
Diligently maintain and report records of all work done.
Handle internal training programs
Readiness for Inhouse engineer support
Able to handle all severe service applications
Monitor RDSL, PDSL, Productivity & RFT performance for the sales/regional teams supported
Analyse RFQ scope & resource availability and commit to a deadline

For This Role, You Will Need:
A degree in engineering field.
4+ year experience in relevant process industry/Control valve/Inside sales.
Hands on knowledge and experience of control valves sizing & selection adds an advantage.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Awareness of internal and industry standards as related to position responsibility (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.
Good interpersonal skills and able to pitch the solution for applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Awareness on Fisher control valve product knowledge/Engineering, Inside sales exp, process industry knowledge, etc.
