The Role

We are seeking to engage a Senior Analyst, Finance (I+E) to join our ANZ team, preferably based in our Melbourne office.

Reporting to the ANZ Manager, Finance (I+E) you will be responsible for providing high quality advice and support to key business stakeholders in relation to Finance across ANZ. This position will support the Urban Development business in relation to project governance, Joint Ventures, alliances, financial auditing and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide business-focused, strategic and operational advice and guidance in relation to finance policies, procedures and programs;
  • Support project teams with project financial budgeting and project planning activities;
  • Review, analyse and report on month-end project performance data and support completion of monthly reviews;
  • Assist with the creation of new projects including policy compliance and the recognition and escalation of commercial risks as required;
  • Provide analysis of projects including financial performance, cost allocation, earned value and scenario analysis;
  • Facilitate the training for team members in the use of the financial system and tools related to project finance management;

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance or Commerce
  • 5+ years experience in managing professionals in a similar corporate environment
  • Sound proficiency with spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures as well as dealing appropriately with confidential/sensitive information
  • The ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision when required;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft and financial applications highly regarded, particularly SAP
