Job Overview

The Senior AI Project Manager will lead AI initiatives at Canibuild, ensuring that AI-driven solutions are effectively integrated into business operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management proficiency, and strategic vision. The ideal candidate will have experience managing AI/ML projects, knowledge of MLOps, and a strong understanding of AI governance frameworks. The role will work closely with the COO and Head of IT/Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, develop AI roadmaps, and manage resources.
  • AI Strategy & Implementation: Align AI solutions with business objectives and oversee end-to-end implementation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers and business leaders, to ensure transparency and goal alignment.
  • Risk Management: Monitor AI bias, compliance with AI governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and ethical AI considerations.
  • Model Validation & Deployment: Oversee AI/ML model lifecycle, ensuring models meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Assess project success, identify areas for improvement, and drive AI innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
  • 7+ years in project management, with 3+ years in AI/ML projects.
  • PMP or Agile certification preferred.
  • Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, Weights & Biases).
  • Understanding of AI governance and ethical AI principles.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
