How you'll make an impact

In this role, you’ll be at the centre of how enterprise AI is designed, governed, and brought to life at scale. You’ll engineer and operate the organisation’s AI platforms across Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and ready for broad adoption. Your work will enable teams across the business to safely build and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows, while maintaining strong guardrails around security, compliance, and Responsible AI.

You’ll have a tangible impact on how AI moves from experimentation to trusted, production‑ready capability. By embedding robust CI/CD, governance, observability, and operational practices, you’ll help ensure AI solutions are resilient, scalable, and sustainable. Along the way, you’ll partner closely with architects, security, risk, and compliance teams, and mentor other engineers , helping uplift capability while avoiding key‑person dependency and strengthening the organisation’s AI foundations for the long term.

What you'll bring to the role

You’ll bring deep, hands‑on experience engineering and running enterprise platforms, ideally within Microsoft’s AI and low‑code ecosystem or a comparable cloud environment. You’re comfortable designing and developing AI agents and agentic workflows, and you understand what it takes to move from proof‑of‑concept to production  including governance, lifecycle management, and operational reliability.

You have strong practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, environment management and release automation, alongside a solid grounding in cloud security, identity, access control, and secrets management. You’re confident working with large language models, prompt design, grounding techniques, and evaluation approaches, and you bring a thoughtful, responsible mindset to AI delivery. Just as importantly, you’re a collaborative engineer who can influence without authority, work closely with architects and stakeholders, and provide guidance and mentoring to lift the capability of those around you.
