We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to deliver complex automation and control system projects across major industrial environments.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on full project lifecycle delivery, from design through to commissioning, working with leading technologies across DCS, PLC and SCADA platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver control systems projects (DCS / PLC / SCADA) from concept to commissioning
- Develop Functional and Detailed Design Specifications
- Perform system configuration, testing and commissioning
- Interface directly with clients to define project scope and solutions
- Support hardware and software engineering for process control systems
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, budget, and quality targets
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in control systems / project engineering
- Strong experience with DCS, PLC and SCADA systems
- Background in industrial environments (mining, oil & gas, power, manufacturing)
- Experience delivering full lifecycle engineering projects
- Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills
Nice to Have
- Virtualisation (VMware), networking, or cybersecurity exposure
- Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Additional Details
- Travel required (25–50% including interstate and occasional international travel
- Must have full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available
