Job Title:  Senior Account Manager (Manufacturing & Consumer Industries)

The job  

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive growth across a portfolio of strategic accounts within Manufacturing & Consumer Industries (including Discrete Manufacturing, CPG, and Food & Beverage).

This role is suited to a commercially driven professional with strong industry knowledge and enterprise sales experience, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and positioning AVEVA’s portfolio to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

You will take ownership of key accounts, lead complex sales cycles, and act as a trusted advisor to customers navigating operational, digital, and sustainability challenges.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, delivering on renewal, expansion, and new business targets.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level, GM Operations, and Digital/OT leaders.

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, positioning AVEVA as a strategic partner.

  • Act as a platform seller, driving cross-portfolio adoption (PI System, APM, MES, AIM, CONNECT).

  • Identify, qualify, and progress high-value opportunities aligned to customer business priorities.

  • Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer transformation roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with Presales, Services, Customer Success, and Partners to deliver outcomes and ensure adoption.

  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and opportunity qualification (e.g. MEDDPICC).

  • Represent AVEVA at industry events, executive briefings, and strategic account reviews.

 

Essential requirements 

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales or account management within industrial software, SaaS, or digital solutions. 

  • Strong experience in Manufacturing, CPG, or Food & Beverage industries, with understanding of operational and business drivers.

  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals across long sales cycles.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (C-level / GM level).

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate ROI, value cases, and transformation outcomes.

  • Experience in consultative and value-based selling methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Desired skills 

  • Knowledge of AVEVA portfolio (PI System, APM, MES, AIM) or similar industrial platforms.

  • Experience with data platforms, analytics, or digital transformation programs.

  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems (system integrators, consultants).

  • Experience with MEDDPICC or similar qualification frameworks.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce.

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
