Manage secure connectivity solutions leveraging Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Fortinet FortiSASE, and multi-vendor SD-WAN technologies.
Troubleshoot complex network incidents, drive operational excellence, and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced SD-WAN / SASE Operations Engineers to support and maintain enterprise networking and security environments. This role is responsible for the operational management of SD-WAN, SASE, firewall, cloud networking, and core network infrastructure technologies while ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical business services.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and client teams to resolve incidents, implement changes, optimize network performance, and support ongoing transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, operate, and support SASE solutions including Netskope, Fortinet FortiSASE, and Palo Alto Prisma Access.
Manage and maintain SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, and Zero Trust security policies.
Configure and support SD-WAN environments, including traffic steering, application-aware routing, QoS, and SLA-driven failover.
Administer next-generation firewall policies, NAT, IPS/IDS, SSL inspection, URL filtering, and threat prevention controls.
Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments including VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and WAN transport technologies.
Support cloud networking connectivity across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, and on-call support activities.
Execute and maintain infrastructure changes in accordance with ITIL and change management processes.
Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security

AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
Additional Preferred Experience
Experience supporting large enterprise, regulated, or government environments.
Exposure to Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks.
Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Experience integrating cloud networking with on-premises network infrastructure.
Existing Australian security clearance highly regarded.
