About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SD-WAN / SASE Architect & Consultant to design and deliver large-scale network transformation initiatives for enterprise clients. This role combines architecture, consulting, and delivery responsibilities, with a focus on SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, and network security technologies.

You will work closely with clients, project teams, and technology vendors to develop innovative solutions, lead implementation activities, and ensure successful outcomes across complex networking environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, and security solutions.

  • Lead the design and implementation of network and security transformation programs.

  • Develop architecture and design documentation including HLDs, LLDs, Bills of Materials, and configuration standards.

  • Define testing strategies, test plans, and oversee test execution activities.

  • Create implementation, migration, and cutover plans aligned with client governance and change management processes.

  • Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during deployment and post-implementation stabilization.

  • Manage client and vendor engagements while maintaining strong communication and documentation standards.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet agreed milestones, quality standards, and business objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable networking solutions.

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, and network security solutions.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale SD-WAN and SASE environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with next-generation firewall technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto platforms.

  • Experience delivering cloud networking solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking principles, security frameworks, and modern connectivity architectures.

  • Experience working within multi-vendor enterprise environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and client-facing deliverables.

  • Experience developing and executing testing, migration, and implementation strategies.

  • Knowledge of ITIL, project governance, and change management practices.

  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience / Qualifications

Networking & Security Certifications

  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise or Security

  • Palo Alto PCNSE or equivalent solution architect certification

  • Fortinet NSE 7 or higher

  • Netskope Certified Cloud Security Administrator (NCCSA)

Cloud Networking Certifications

  • AWS Advanced Networking Specialty

  • Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)

  • Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer

Additional Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting large enterprise, regulated, or government environments.

  • Experience delivering complex network transformation and modernization programs.

  • Exposure to Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks.

  • Existing Australian security clearance highly regarded.

  • Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders and technology vendors.
