Your New Role and Responsibilities
Working together with the Program Manager/product owner, Lead Architect (Platform) and Technical Solutions Lead, this exciting role is at the forefront of agile ways of working, embracing the best of contemporary new ways of working whilst aligning with a traditional delivery methodology.
The role will core to a new multi-year program to deliver an enterprise wide platform. This capability will enable future capabilities and the embedding of new standards and integrate into the existing eco-system.
Joining the team in the formation of the project to drive our agile ways of working with customer and their suppliers. As the Agile Delivery Lead & Scrum Master, you will be working with the broad technical and development teams, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end Agile project delivery, including planning, backlog refinement, sprint management, scope, dependencies, risks, and milestone tracking across cross-functional teams.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and workshops, and support the Product Owner(s) in defining goals, refining backlogs, and engaging key stakeholders.
Coach and guide teams towards self-organisation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, fostering a high-performing and engaged delivery culture.
Align traditional delivery methods with Agile ways of working, driving cultural adoption through education, influence, and stakeholder collaboration.
Prepare and deliver executive updates and progress reports, including sprint burn-downs, risks, issues, and achievements, while proactively identifying and removing delivery obstacles.
About You
Proven experience in delivering enterprise programs and projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with the ability to take accountability and work autonomously on complex tasks.
Advanced proficiency in configuring and maintaining Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, along with other agency-provided software.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean), as well as Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design principles.
Skilled communicator and facilitator with the ability to energise teams, build strong relationships, and manage stakeholders through negotiation, motivation, and conflict resolution.
Strategic and critical thinker with strong leadership capabilities, able to operate effectively under pressure and in ambiguity, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance.
