Test Analyst (QA) & Senior Test Analyst (SQA) – Salesforce Testing
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse business and functional requirements to create detailed and effective test cases
• Design, maintain, and execute manual and/or automated test scripts
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA
• Perform various types of testing including functional, integration, system, regression, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Test and validate Point of Sale (POS) systems, including transaction flows, pricing, promotions, payments, refunds, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and improve overall test coverage
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of test cases to business and functional requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, processes, and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Strong Retail domain experience, with hands-on exposure to Point of Sale (POS) applications and retail transaction systems
• Experience testing POS-related functionalities such as sales, returns, exchanges, discounts, loyalty programs, and payment integrations
• Experience with MS Power Apps in the Retail domain, including Timesheets, Allowances, Cash Discrepancies, Staff Management, and Staff Allocation
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as PractiTest, JIRA, and ALM
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to validate and verify data at the database level
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ways of working
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
• ISTQB certification (preferred)
