Job Description

The Salesforce Marketing Specialist plays a key role in shaping how customers experience TAL, using data‑driven marketing to deliver timely, relevant and meaningful communications. By elevating our Marketing Cloud capability, this role helps deepen relationships, strengthen trust and support our mission to help Australians lead longer, better lives. It’s an opportunity to blend technical expertise with creative thinking to make every interaction count and contribute to a customer experience that truly makes a difference.

In This Role You Will:

  • Build high‑performing email and SMS campaigns that lift lead generation and conversion
  • Develop automated journeys that enhance nurturing, streamline onboarding and improve customer outcomes
  • Strengthen segmentation strategies to drive more relevant, personalised communications
  • Implement dynamic personalisation that boosts engagement and click‑through performance
  • Ensure seamless data flow and platform integrity to enable a unified, reliable customer view
  • Translate performance insights into optimisation actions that improve marketing effectiveness
  • Drive continuous uplift through structured testing that enhances key campaign metrics
  • Champion compliant, best‑practice marketing automation that builds trust and supports scalable growth

Qualifications

  • At least 3 - 5 years of hands‑on Marketing Cloud experience to deliver advanced, data‑driven marketing
  • Applies strong SQL proficiency to enable accurate segmentation and insight‑led decision‑making
  • Uses AMPscript to create personalised, scalable customer experiences
  • Builds complex automated journeys that strengthen nurturing and conversion outcomes
  • Applies deep knowledge of email best practice and deliverability to maximise engagement
  • Integrates Marketing Cloud with Salesforce to support a unified, reliable customer view
  • Ability to leverage analytics tools to translate performance data into meaningful optimisation opportunities
