We’re seeking a passionate Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to evolve day-by-day - finding new ways to solve our client's toughest challenges.

In your role as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will work in a team to create high-quality, sustainable code for our marketing solutions. This involves using the latest technologies to refine and broaden our applications, making them more effective and scalable. It's a role that demands multitasking, prioritising, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to solve problems and analyse data to make meaningful improvements will be crucial.

What You’ll Do

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with technical and solution architects to build and deploy in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (primarily), Marketing Cloud Advanced and Data Cloud/360.

  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as marketers, team leads and other developers to own your solution from start to deployment.

  • Designing and building email templates and web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including programmatic scripting languages such as AMPScript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).

  • Setting up and managing email campaigns, segmenting audiences, and automating workflows in Marketing Cloud using Automation Studio and Journey Builder.

  • Building integrations between Marketing Cloud and third-party platforms (experience using Marketing Cloud APIs), including scenarios using REST and SOAP API.

  • Configure and set up data models (data extensions, shared data extensions, Contact model) along with proficiency in SQL.

  • Document the setup and maintenance of Marketing Cloud solutions, including technical guides and user manuals.

  • Be the team's point of contact for technical decisions and remove obstacles.

  • Handle multiple projects and tasks in parallel.

  • Continually learn, set, teach, and apply software best practices, tools and technologies.

What You’ll Bring
  • At least 12 months of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud either as a developer or an email specialist.

  • Ideally certified as a 'Marketing Cloud Email Specialist' or 'Marketing Cloud Consultant'.

  • Profound knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including expertise in programmatic scripts such as AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), and WSProxy.

  • Proficient in SQL-based query activities using complex JOINS for audience segmentation, reporting and data extracts.

  • Excellent knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs in SFMC and ability to solve business challenges through them.

  • Nice to have: Bootstrap, JQuery, Git, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced

  • Excellent grasp of fundamental web technology concepts and ability to write well-organized code.

  • Detail-oriented, can identify and fix own bugs, and write quality code that runs efficiently

  • Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other teams while able to work independently; detail-oriented and execution-focused.

  • Passionate, positive, can-do attitude and can adapt to any challenge and willing to take ownership of problems and bring issues to full resolution
