The Role

The Account Manager is responsible for increasing sales and market share of existing and new Orion brands.

  • Customer Engagement & Territory Management – Build strong healthcare professional relationships, manage key accounts, and execute territory plans to drive sales growth.
  • Clinical Knowledge & Education – Develop strong product and therapeutic expertise and deliver high-quality clinical education to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve shared business objectives and strengthen Orion's presence.
  • Compliance, Integrity & Professionalism – Demonstrate ethical conduct, adhere to company policies and the Medicines Australia Code, and ensure timely adverse event reporting.
  • Business Execution & Accountability – Maintain accurate CRM reporting, manage expenses and promotional budgets responsibly, and deliver results through effective planning, organisation, and adaptability.

 

What we are looking for


  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven ability to grow sales, identify opportunities, and deliver business results through effective territory and account management.
  • Ability to confidently communicate clinical information and deliver value through customer education and engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop trusted partnerships and positively influence stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, professionalism, and operating in line with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Highly organised, accountable, and adaptable, with strong planning, reporting, and business management skills.
  • Tertiary qualification, preferably a bachelor’s degree.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • A valid Australian driver’s license.
