The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the sales process to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with overall business objectives. This role involves overseeing sales data analysis, CRM management, sales forecasting, and the development of sales strategies and processes. The Sales Operations Manager works closely with the sales team, marketing, finance, and other departments to drive sales performance and support the company's growth initiatives.

We are open to part time of full time arrangements for this role.


Requirements

What you'll do:

  • Oversee bids, proposals, tenders, and quotes to ensure high-quality, compelling submissions that improve win rates
  • Establish and refine deal qualification and proposal processes to drive consistency and effectiveness
  • Manage the eCommerce platform, including customer onboarding, pricing, and portal experience
  • Develop and implement scalable sales processes aligned to business goals and growth strategy
  • Build and manage customer success programs to drive satisfaction, retention, and long-term value
  • Lead sales enablement initiatives to uplift capability, tools usage, and overall performance
  • Own CRM management, ensuring data accuracy, adoption, and best practice usage across the sales team
  • Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies to optimise the sales lifecycle
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities, providing actionable insights
  • Deliver regular reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics to the CCO and key stakeholders
  • Support sales forecasting and planning, partnering with leadership to set targets and track performance
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive targeted campaigns and lead generation initiatives
  • Maintain and optimise pricing strategies, including rate cards and government procurement portals
  • Lead and develop the Sales Operations function, ensuring delivery against key objectives
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and delivery teams to drive alignment and outcomes

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales management, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and provide clear insights
  • Experience managing CRM systems and sales tools, with a focus on adoption and optimisation
  • Demonstrated ability to design and improve sales processes and operational frameworks
  • Experience supporting bids, tenders, and proposal development
  • Strong commercial awareness, including pricing strategy and sales performance management
  • Experience with sales forecasting, planning, and performance tracking
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Adaptability and problem-solving capability in fast-paced, evolving environments
