We’re looking for an outstanding Sales Manager to lead and grow our Australia-based Vertical Sales team, which includes both SDRs and AEs. This is a unique opportunity to manage a full-funnel sales motion, play a key leadership role in our high-performing sales org, and drive acquisition growth across key verticals.

As a hands-on leader, you will coach and mentor both individual contributors and team leads, ensure strong alignment across teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-velocity SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a growing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs), focused on verticals.
  • Drive performance by holding the team accountable to core KPIs and monthly quotas across outreach, pipeline creation, and closed-won revenue.
  • Work with our capability team to Deliver impactful sales coaching and training sessions, embedding best practices in outbound prospecting, qualification, discovery, and closing.
  • Lead hiring efforts and ongoing development of sales talent to support team growth.
  • Build and execute on strategic plans to scale the sales function in alignment with company targets and market opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast and report on performance metrics to local leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, CX and Partnerships to optimise our go-to-market motion.
  • Be a culture carrier – lead by example with a positive, can-do attitude and a customer-first mindset.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of sales experience, ideally in high-velocity SaaS or technology sales targeting SMBs.
  • 5+ years’ leadership experience managing both individual contributors and people leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and scaling teams sales teams
  • Strong ability to inspire and coach both individuals and leaders; a hands-on leader who’s comfortable jumping into calls, training sessions, and 1:1s.
  • A proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent.
  • High EQ and strong communication skills – can lead with transparency, deliver feedback with care, and motivate under pressure.
  • Data-driven and operationally minded; confident in building reports, analysing metrics, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience in building vertical strategies or working within verticalised sales teams is a strong plus.
  • A “founder mentality” – someone who thrives in fast-paced, scrappy environments and is excited to build, scale, and evolve.
