About the Role:
We have a unique opportunity available to lead the Supply & Install team to success from our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane support offices. As the Supply & Install Sales Manager this National position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining strategies, plans and standards that maximise Commercial Supply & Install sales growth.
The S&I Sales Manager role leads a highly experienced team across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales that delivers on promise, drives high performance across both sales and project delivery whilst managing expense control. This role works with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders including Commercial Sales Managers in our Commercial Segments, Marketing & Merchandising / Buying Teams and Fulfilment Centres whilst reporting directly to the National Specialist Sales Manager.
The S&I Sales Manager is responsible for driving opportunities and leads through supporting the State Sales Team leaders and their teams with new and existing S&I business from sale to project delivery. Our key S&I solutions focus, but not limited to, are Joinery, Staircases, Wardrobes, Shower Screens, Splashbacks, Windows, Plasterboard and Balustrading.
What’s involved:

Identify & engage new business opportunities in line with Commercial S&I growth objectives

Develop sales strategies and business plans that achieve the State and National S&I budgets

Engage with relevant industry bodies and representatives in each segment to initiate relationships and understand any potential obstacles for growth

Ensure projects are delivered within contract requirements and penalty costs are avoided
-
Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of the market in all locations.

Develop strategies to address local opportunities and combat competitor activities.

Champion best practice process for S&I categories and aid in education across the business

Build a high-performance team that delivers best practice sales and project management
You’ll need:
-
Deep level of experience in building industry and ability to interpret technical building plans
-
Experience in building and leading high-performance sales and delivery teams
-
Strong influencing skills, negotiation and conflict management skills
-
Building practices and legislative requirements knowledge and application. NCCC and State based.

Ability to problem solve and apply technical reasoning to drive business outcomes
-
Demonstrated experience in delivering sales outcomes

Strong commercial and financial acumen with a high level of attention to detail

Demonstrated understanding of site safety compliance
-
Demonstrated ability to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships

Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
