About us
At Splend, we're on a mission to fundamentally change the way people own and operate a vehicle. With a strategic focus on rideshare, we provide our customers with straightforward, no-strings-attached access to vehicle ownership. But we aren't just about vehicle ownership. We're also fast-tracking the transition to green mobility, leading the way globally in reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation sector by transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles.

You'll be excited to work in this role if...
  • You get excited by building and coaching high-performing sales teams, and get a buzz out of watching your people grow.

  • You’re eager to lead an ambitious, fast-growing business that's fast-tracking the shift to electric vehicles.

We're looking for someone with big ambitions and a genuine interest in building an effective and scalable sales platform to help us achieve our goals.

What you'll be doing

    • Lead, coach and develop a team of 11 phone-based Sales Consultants across VIC and NSW, driving performance and career growth.

    • Help execute the Splend Global Excellence Sales program, embedding best-practice processes and standards across the team.

    • Drive sales growth, lead conversion, call quality and customer upgrades across the phone-based sales function.

    • Manage performance across multiple lead channels, ensuring the team is resourced and prioritised to maximise conversion and pipeline quality.

    • Use sales and pipeline data to inform performance decisions, coach consultants and ensure the CRM is fully leveraged for accurate reporting.

What you'll bring to Splend

    • 3+ years' experience in a sales leadership role, having led a team of 5+ sales reps, coaching and developing team members to deliver exceptional performance.

    • Experience managing multiple lead channels within a sales contact centre environment.

    • Comfortable working with data, using it to manage performance and identify opportunities within the sales pipeline.

    • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and pipeline management, with a naturally collaborative, positive and energetic leadership style.

    • Able to travel occasionally to VIC as needed.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
