Job Description
Behind the Meter (BtM) is a dynamic new team at Intellihub, driving the future of energy innovation. Focused on cutting-edge renewable solutions like solar, battery energy storage solutions (BESS), EV chargers, and more, the BtM team empowers customers to electrify their homes and optimize energy use.
We’re now looking for a Sales Manager to join this dynamic team and take the lead in driving growth and performance. This is a newly created leadership role where you’ll own the performance and development of our BtM sales function. Your mission: build a high-performing, customer-centric team that converts leads efficiently, delivers value, and scales with our ambitious growth plans.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day performance of a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Designing and optimising sales processes, scripts, and tools to boost conversion rates and customer experience
- Managing lead distribution, sales forecasts, pipeline performance and HubSpot CRM usage
- Driving sales strategies across inbound, outbound, and online lead channels
- Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Operations and Product teams to align sales strategy with broader BtM goals
- Ensuring compliance, operational efficiency and a consistently great customer experience
Qualifications
You’re a commercially savvy sales leader who thrives in fast-paced, phone-based environments. You’re strategic, organised, and great with people. Most of all, you're excited to be part of a purpose-driven team at the forefront of clean energy.
What you bring:
- Proven experience leading high-performing sales teams (inbound/outbound/call centre)
- Experience managing a
- Strong knowledge of CER (Consumer Energy Resources) products - solar, EV chargers, batteries
- Expertise in building scalable sales processes and tools
- A continuous improvement mindset with strong data and CRM (HubSpot) experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A passion for clean energy, innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
