The Sales Manager, ANZ is responsible for leading and growing the commercial team to drive strategic sales initiatives and manage key accounts and distributors to deliver revenue and margin targets.  This role is pivotal in shaping market strategy and building strong customer relationships with potential to progress into senior management roles.

Location: This position reports to the General Manager and is part of the ANZ Management team located in Mount Waverley, Melbourne or Sydney with some requirements to be in the office for team meetings. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and implement annual business plans and growth strategies to achieve sales & margin targets across ANZ

• Expand market share through direct engagement and distributor management

• Lead funnel management and pipeline development for sustainable growth

• Lead Growth Room initiatives to drive focused strategic sales activities

• Coach and mentor sales and applications teams to foster a high-performance, customer focused culture

• Build strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Proven track record in sales leadership within pathology, life sciences or related fields

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive strategic growth

• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills

• Desirable: Scientific degree with postgraduate business qualifications

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel – 40 % travel across ANZ; occasional international travel for training and conferences

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
