About The Role


Reporting to People Projects & Rewards Manager, as the Sales Incentives Analyst you will lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of global sales commission and incentive plans to drive business performance and align with strategic objectives. You will act as the subject matter expert on sales compensation, providing data-driven insights, recommendations, and operational support to ensure plans are effective, competitive, and compliant. You will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Remuneration & Benefits (R&B), Finance, and Executive Leadership (including CEO) to optimise commercial outcomes and incentive alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage global sales compensation and commission structures aligned to business strategy and revenue targets
  • Lead commission plan cycles, ensuring scalability, consistency, and effectiveness across regions
  • Analyse sales performance, incentive outcomes, and cost of sales to provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Remuneration teams to align incentives, ensure governance, and maintain financial integrity
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing reporting, insights, and guidance on sales performance and incentive effectiveness
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to track trends, performance, and opportunities
  • Ensure strong governance, accuracy, and compliance of commission plans
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency across sales operations and commission management
  • Monitor market trends and benchmarking to maintain competitive and effective incentive structures
  • Support forecasting and scenario modelling to inform business decisions and plan design

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in business, finance, statistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales compensation, or incentive design
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing global commission structures across multiple regions
  • Strong experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Remuneration & Benefits, and executive leadership
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Experience analysing sales performance, cost of sales, and incentive effectiveness
  • Strong technical capability working with large datasets and sales/commission systems (e.g. Salesforce, Performio, Anaplan or similar)
  • Exposure to governance, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
  • Deep understanding of incentive frameworks, commission structures, and sales performance drivers
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, engaging communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality outcomes
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills and familiarity with CRM systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
