Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Executive for a 12-month parental leave cover with the Agency Publishing team in Melbourne! In this key role, you will drive revenue growth and deliver tailored client solutions across print and digital media for the Independent Agencies portfolio within Nine Publishing.

Day to day you will:

  • Grow market share & revenue across your client base.

  • Build client portfolio expertise to identify & develop new business opportunities.

  • Develop relationships with decision-makers and influencers across client base.

  • Link across divisions, functions, and locations to present a seamless face to the client and their media /creative agencies.

  • Increase industry knowledge via media, data, and experience sources; attend relevant industry events where possible.

  • Deploy effective methodologies for deepening or broadening relationships with clients.

  • Determine appropriate Nine Publishing assets to be deployed to effectively meet customer goals.

  • Identify suitable up-sell products to present to specific customers.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Successful media sales experience or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Agency sales or Agency experience.

  • Proven success achieving revenue targets.

  • Strong sales skills with a solution-based approach.

  • Proven commitment to driving exceptional quality of work and customer experience.

  • Proven history of working collaboratively with peers and management to drive collaborative

  • solutions.

  • Strong digital advertising knowledge.

  • Interest and knowledge of media sales and demonstrate existing agency and client contact.

  • Demonstrable ability and credibility to marshal internal resources when necessary to deliver seamless strategic customer solutions.
