  • Identify and convert new-logo and expansion opportunities across banking, insurance, wealth and superannuation.
  • Lead complex, multi-million-dollar pursuits from strategy through to close.
  • Partner with consulting and delivery teams to develop compelling, differentiated client propositions.
  • Bring a strong understanding of emerging technology trends and how they are transforming financial services.
  • Develop long-term strategic account plans and drive revenue, margin and market growth.
  • Represent the business at industry forums and with key clients, helping position us as a trusted technology transformation partner.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a senior technology sales professional who can operate comfortably at boardroom level and get into the detail when required.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Significant experience in technology consulting, professional services or IT services sales.
  • A strong track record selling into the FSI sector, with established relationships across major Australian financial institutions.
  • Proven success in new business development, strategic account growth and complex solution selling.
  • Experience selling consulting, digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, applications, managed services or broader technology solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead large, complex sales pursuits.
  • Executive-level communication and influencing skills.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
