The Sales Coordinator prepares quotations, coordinates customer orders, engages with stakeholders, and manages pricing from overseas suppliers.

Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Coordinator to join our high performing Construction Industries team. Based in our Brisbane, Acacia Ridge office, this is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare official quotations for the supply of new and used CI prime equipment and attachments
- Coordinate the customer order to invoice process for the supply of new and used CI equipment and attachments
- Engage with multiple internal & external l stakeholders, including Customers, Engineering, Sales Management, Finance, Operations, Equipment Assembly as well a multiple vendors and Caterpillar to effectively coordinate and manage the customer quotation and order to invoice processes
- Ensure all relevant costs are confirmed and incorporated in each quotation to cover estimated expenses
- As required, obtain pricing from overseas suppliers, liaise with shipping companies and Customs obtaining all necessary pricing, shipping and Customs information and calculate cost and selling figures (including currency conversion calculations)
About You:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- High communication skills (verbal and written) with a strong customer service focus
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
- Solid Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Tertiary education and previous experience in an administrative, sales or trade roles desirable
- Experience in heavy earthmoving industries is highly regarded
- Technical or mechanical experience and aptitude is desirable
- Previous experience with ERP systems
- Desire to grow and develop your career in an energetic sales team!
