The Position

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for developing customer relationships that promote retention and works with the Oceania Sales team to ensure that assigned customers achieve expected business outcomes with Maersk solutions.

Please note that internally, the business title is Customer Success Partner.

Location: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales representatives are supported and build long-term trusting relationships with the customers to ensure they realize full value of their partnership with Maersk
  • Coordinate tender handling & quoting process and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive offer is submitted to the customers in a timely manner
  • Manage the allocation process and coordinate with customers to ensure they deliver on their volume commitment
  • As a customer advocate, ensure customer needs are met and account issues are resolved quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed

What we are looking for:

  • Knowledge of shipping, supply chain or logistics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer relations and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities at once, while keeping quality in focus
  • Good process understanding & digital proficiency

Preferred candidates will be required to undertake reference checks as well as pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check. We will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all legal requirements. Where applicable, background checks including Employment History and Education History (including Qualifications) may be required.
