As part of our Sales team, you'll work closely with Account Managers and customers to identify requirements, develop tailored solutions, and support the sales process from opportunity through to quotation and follow-up. You'll be at the forefront of helping healthcare providers leverage innovative technology to deliver exceptional care.

Your days will be filled with...

The Sales Consultant is responsible for developing the technical content of quotations and supporting the Account Manager throughout the sales cycle. Working collaboratively with Account Managers, you'll translate customer requirements into practical Ascom solutions while contributing to an effective and successful sales organization.

You will:

  • Work closely with Account Managers to support sales activities within assigned customer segments and coordinate activities between Ascom and customers.

  • Define, plan, and execute sales activities that support business growth objectives.

  • Recommend and select products and solutions based on individual customer needs.

  • Prepare technical solution proposals and provide input to Account Managers and Product Managers regarding product portfolio development, market trends, and technology advancements.

  • Present and explain product features, benefits, and use cases to prospective customers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through regular engagement, both in person and virtually.

  • Develop your own network of customer relationships through a multi-level selling approach.

  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, industry engagement, referrals, and proactive prospecting activities.

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer environments, challenges, and objectives.

  • Ensure partner compliance with relevant agreements and business requirements.

  • Complete sales administration activities including CRM updates, sales records, quotations, and opportunity tracking.

  • Support the achievement of team sales objectives and business targets.

Technical Competencies

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the wireless communication sector and clinical solutions environment.

  • Understanding of technical system configurations and solution architectures.

  • Knowledge of the Ascom product portfolio and its application within customer environments would be advantageous.

  • Strong commercial acumen combined with consultative selling skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • The ability to effectively use Microsoft 365 tools (including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint) to communicate, collaborate, analyse information, and manage sales activities. This includes leveraging digital productivity tools to streamline workflows and improve team effectiveness.

And you are...

Tertiary qualified in Business, Technology, Engineering, Healthcare, or a related discipline, with experience in solution-based sales, technical sales support, pre-sales consulting, or business development.

Experienced in working within healthcare technology, communications, clinical workflows, ICT, retail, hospitality, or related industries will be highly regarded.

You are customer-focused, technically curious, and enjoy building trusted relationships while helping customers identify the right solutions for their needs.
