We’re looking for a dedicated Risk and Compliance Specialist to help strengthen and embed our enterprise risk management framework. In this broad and dynamic generalist role, you’ll work across the organisation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards, support audit and assurance processes, and champion a strong risk culture.You’ll play a key role in critical infrastructure projects, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to drive meaningful risk and compliance outcomes. Job Description
- Risk Management: Implement and manage the enterprise risk management framework, identify and manage potential risks, and enhance risk awareness and capability.
- Compliance: Train staff on compliance matters, improve risk and compliance controls, and ensure adherence to relevant laws and standards.
- Audit: Conduct internal audits and inspections, report on compliance status, and support the Audit and Risk Committee.
- Reporting: Fulfill reporting requirements as per our risk and compliance management framework and ensure understanding of risk and compliance obligations.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Qualifications or experience in risk management, or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in highly regulated sectors like utilities, mining, oil & gas, or infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of risk management frameworks, international standards, and compliance systems.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and provide clear, practical advice.
- Confidence using risk systems and Microsoft tools
