Come shape the future of education with us.

At Compass, we’re on a mission to transform the school day for everyone - from staff and students to families and administrators. We build smart, seamless technology that empowers schools to focus on what really matters: learning, growing and thriving.

That mission has fuelled our growth into a global scale-up, now supporting 5,000+ schools across three countries, backed by a team of 300+ people. Our all-in-one school management platform is redefining how education communities connect, communicate and operate.

We’re now looking for a Revenue Operations Specialist to strengthen the systems, data and processes that power our revenue engine across Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.

About the Role & Team

Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, you'll play a critical part in enabling efficient, accurate and scalable revenue operations.

You’ll own key revenue systems, protect data integrity and support operational processes across the full revenue lifecycle. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys optimising systems, improving workflows and helping teams work smarter.

You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, acting as a trusted subject-matter expert across revenue tools, data and reporting.

What you’ll do:

RevTech Ownership and Enablement

  • Act as a primary administrator of our RevTech stack, including CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho), sales engagement tools and marketing automation platforms.
  • Manage system configuration, automations, enhancements and ongoing optimisation.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and lead implementation of improvements.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Own CRM data governance across the full revenue lifecycle (Marketing to Sales to Customer Success).
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports covering pipeline health, forecasting and performance within Sales & Marketing.
  • Ensure revenue data is accurate, reliable and actionable.

Processes & Team Efficiency

  • Support the design and documentation of cross-functional revenue workflows.
  • Identify and implement improvements that reduce manual work and increase sales efficiency & execution.
  • Strengthen operational consistency across Sales and Marketing.

Training, Enablement & Support

  • Deliver documentation, training and ongoing support to drive strong CRM and sales tool adoption.
  • Support internal professional development and enablement initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to Sales and Marketing teams, acting as a subject-matter expert on revenue systems, data, and processes.

Requirements

About You

You’re a detail-oriented, systems-savvy operations professional who knows how to turn data, tools and process into clear commercial impact across Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.

You'll bring:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or a related role.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho) and sales engagement tools (e.g. Gong, Aircall, Consensus and Gsuite).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand data and provide assistance with reports.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with confidence working cross-functionally.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to continuously improve systems and processes.

Benefits

What’s in it for you?

You’ll join a purpose-driven company at a genuinely exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to make a real impact on education at scale.

What we offer:

  • A hybrid working environment, with teams spending three days a week in person at our office hubs.
  • Learning and development opportunities, including a dedicated PD budget.
  • 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including face-to-face, phone and live chat support.
  • A parental leave program for both primary and secondary carers.
  • A supportive, inclusive culture where your voice is valued and heard.
  • The chance to grow alongside a fast-moving, ambitious organisation.

Compass is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We embrace and celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Prior to commencing employment, you’ll need:

  • A valid Employee Working With Children Check
  • A satisfactory National Police Check
  • Verification of unrestricted work rights in Australia (e.g. citizenship, passport or birth certificate)

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
