Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdHastings Deering is searching for an exceptional Sales Support Advisor to join our high-performing Resource Industries team.
The successful candidate will ensure every step from quote to delivery runs with precision, clarity and customer focus. You will be the internal conduit between our technical, commercial and operational teams – the person who ensures everything is aligned, documented and delivered on time.

What you’ll be doing:Coordinate the full lifecycle of customer orders for new mining equipment and capital parts – from quote to delivery and final customer acceptance
Prepare accurate quotations and manage invoicing and build cost tracking
Drive post-build reviews and improve the performance of standard jobs
Lead tender specification reviews and collaborate across internal stakeholders
Provide accurate equipment build status updates to Account Managers and customers
Liaise with suppliers, Caterpillar, shipping partners and customs agents to ensure end-to-end alignment
Maintain data integrity in internal sales systems and documentation
Provide timely, professional communication and reporting to all stakeholders
Support and coordinate complex new equipment deliveries - including site travel as required
Proven experience in sales coordination, order management or project support – ideally in mining, industrial or heavy machinery sectors
Acute attention to detail and confidence working with budgets, quotes and delivery schedules
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
Comfortable collaborating across departments, managing processes and proactively resolving roadblocks
Confident communicator – able to work effectively with technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ideally in Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system
Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, BHP/BMA sites, or a mechanical/technical background is highly desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics or related field (preferred but not essential)
