About the role.
As a Reporting & Analytics Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for responding to HR Report Requests submitted for data from our core Global HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors, UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions), ServiceNow, etc.) via our general business and HR community. You will fulfill HR report requests by providing data in the form of reports, dashboards, or through general consultation and training around locating, aggregating, analyzing, and presenting HR information to deliver data-driven insights. You will do this in a manner that reinforces our HR security model, protecting the privacy of our employees and corporate data by ensuring recipients are authorized to view what they are requesting for a justifiable business purpose and will deliver the data in a secure manner.
Furthermore, you will help evolve our HR reporting service offering by enhancing our tools and systems that enable delivery based on strategic needs and priorities. This will involve a deep understanding of our HR data, stakeholders and connection to our business to translate needs to deliverables.
In the near term, your primary focus will be to assist with the HR reporting needs related to Time Keeping and Attendance process and then support the reporting needs from other HR systems over time. You'll receive cross-training as the team includes specialists working with multiple systems.
Finally, through collaboration you will often support the broader Digital HR Team by providing data analysis, reporting and analytical skills to accelerate testing, opportunity analysis, break-fix analysis, upgrade analysis, and other supporting tasks as required.
This role is based out of our Employee Experience Centre in Florenceville, NB in a hybrid work setting, where three days a week will be spent in office.

What you'll be doing.
- Develop HR reports (dashboards, tiles, data views, etc.) from our Global HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors, UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions), ServiceNow, etc.) as per business needs.
- Monitor HR Reporting and Analytics case queue and complete requests in line with our service level agreements and quality metrics.
- Schedule and conduct intake calls for more complex reporting asks and/or escalate to the improvement process.
- Reinforce our security model through process and controls. Understand what groups have access to what information, when further approvals are required, or when requests need to be diverted through the Data Governance process and perform the needful.
- Maintain a high customer satisfaction score by providing customer focused service delivery, including case hygiene, clear updates and accuracy in deliverables.
- Partner with broader HR organization for delivering against key projects and enhancements related to HR reporting and analytics.
- Identify opportunities to provide and equip stakeholders with the ability to access self-service reporting capability and enable through appropriate training and consultation.
- Collaborate with the necessary Employee Experience Centre teams or individuals when performance issues/errors or general data inaccuracies are identified via our reporting and analytics technology.
- Contribute to testing, break fix analysis, and opportunity analysis as required in collaboration with the Digital HR Team.
- Collaboratively work with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, and members of the HR Shared services center to provide an advisory service on Human Resources data, reporting analytics and intersecting processes.
- Design, develop and implement reporting & analytics solutions that improve business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
What you'll need to be successful.
- 3+ years in a HR Technology role or reporting/analytics role with good knowledge of data practices, data visualization and dashboards development to positively impact employee performance and business results.
- Experience working with SuccessFactors, UKG Pro Workforce Management, ServiceNow and SAP HCM systems
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Information Technology or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with employees and external contacts at all levels, demonstrating strong influencing and negotiating skills. Must be capable of working with senior managers and working constructively with diverse personalities.
- Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential and sensitive personnel information.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks without close supervision.
- Experience working with PowerBI, DAX, SQL and advanced experience with Microsoft Excel are considered an asset.
- Background in advanced analytics, advanced mathematics or statistical analysis are considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team.
- Fluent in English (required), and French or Spanish as second language (preferred).
