The P-8A Poseidon Australia program equips the Royal Australian Air Force with a world-class maritime patrol and reconnaissance capability. This program significantly boosts Australia's ability to monitor and protect critical sea lines of communication, deter regional threats, and contribute to multinational maritime security operations.
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is currently seeking an Reliability Analyst to join the P8 team.

What you'll get to do
  • Support design and implementation of a Reliability Driven Readiness Framework to deliver and sustain FMC status for the RAAF P-8A fleet.
  • Monitor capability health, identify long-term reliability risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect fleet readiness.
  • Develop and execute reliability-focused asset strategies and continuous improvement actions using MTBF, FMEA and condition-based monitoring.
  • Contribute to BDA digital sustainment tool deployment to capture reliability metrics and enable predictive maintenance.
  • Track reliability KPIs (MTTR, reliability growth) and report FMC progress to senior leadership.
  • Shape and align reliability initiatives with broader program objectives as part of the Sustainment Program Leadership Team.
