Job Description:

 

1. Agile Release Train (ART) Enablement

  • Provide a dedicated or fractional Release Train Engineer to support one or more Agile Release Trains
  • Act as a servant leader and chief facilitator across multiple Agile teams
  • Establish and maintain a predictable delivery cadence

2. Planning & Execution Facilitation

  • Plan and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning end‑to‑end
  • Run and optimise ART‑level ceremonies (ART Sync, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt)
  • Support alignment between business priorities, product management, architecture, and delivery teams

3. Dependency, Risk & Impediment Management

  • Identify and manage cross‑team dependencies
  • Proactively surface and escalate delivery risks and systemic impediments
  • Partner with client leadership to resolve blockers impacting flow and outcomes

4. Delivery Transparency & Reporting

  • Establish and manage ART‑level delivery visibility (PI Objectives, Program Boards, metrics)
  • Provide clear reporting on progress, predictability, risks, and outcomes
  • Support executive and stakeholder communication on delivery status

5. Coaching & Continuous Improvement

  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on scaled Agile practices
  • Facilitate Inspect & Adapt outcomes and drive measurable improvements
  • Support uplift of Agile maturity and ways of working

6. Engagement & Operating Model

  • Ability to deliver as:
    • Ongoing managed service
    • Time‑boxed stabilisation or reset engagement
    • Transitional role with handover to internal teams
  • Clear definition of outcomes, success measures, and responsibilities between vendor and client
