Your Role
Chubb Australia is seeking a Relationship Manager to play a pivotal role in engaging with our premier independent broker segment As the ‘go-to’ person for your State, you will develop and execute distribution strategies, generate new business, and meet production targets by servicing an allocated panel of key broker partners. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced account manager or business development manager looking to broaden their skills across multiple disciplines.
Your Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs across all product lines within your responsibility.
- Proactively manage and grow broker relationships through regular contact and market presence.
- Facilitate training and presentations for key partners on underwriting appetite, Chubb systems, and product platforms.
- Attend key partner network conferences and professional development events as required.
- Lead the use of Microsoft Dynamics for logging broker visits, managing pipelines, and reporting on your allocated panel.
- Manage and coordinate product campaigns with your broker panel as directed by Product & Distribution leaders.
- Collaborate with Underwriters to convert Whole of Account opportunities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Chubb distribution strategy.
Develop and execute Key Account Plans.
What you’ll bring to the role
- At least five years’ experience across a broad range of Insurance products and services and/or business development functions, ideally in General Insurance.
- Exercise initiative and act proactively to drive and manage a range of distribution initiatives.
- Commercially aware, with a clear customer focus.
- Excellent planning, project management and communication skills.
- A self-starter, capable of working in a team or independently.
- Able to travel to metropolitan and regional areas for broker engagements, Professional Development days and broker conferences, as required.
