Job Description

We are now seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Regional Sales Manager – VIC to lead our business development efforts across the corporate and MICE segments in Victoria at Minor Hotels.

As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy—identifying new opportunities, nurturing key accounts, and driving revenue across Rooms, Catering, and Events. You’ll collaborate with hotel teams and senior leadership to deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations and support our long-term success.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow corporate and MICE business
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and key account relationships
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, including RFPs and long-stay agreements
  • Represent Minor Hotels at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Lead contract negotiations, manage RFPs, and secure long-stay and group bookings
  • Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Report on performance, pipeline, and key account activity to senior stakeholders

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hospitality sales, with a focus on corporate and MICE segments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute with urgency and precision.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable client experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
