Regional Marketing Manager ANZ

As Regional Marketing Manager ANZ, you will lead the next phase of growth for our Health & Medical portfolio across Australia and New Zealand with direct responsibility for delivering sales, gross profit and EBITA outcomes.

Reporting to the ANZ Managing Director, and a member of the Senior Management Team, you will be accountable for portfolio strategy, commercial performance and marketing execution, translating global priorities into locally relevant initiatives that deliver sustainable growth and measurable business outcomes.

This is a high-impact leadership role combining strategic direction with hands-on execution. Leading a talented marketing team, you will work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Operations, E-Commerce and regional stakeholders to strengthen market position, drive innovation and create value for customers, clinicians and patients.

About the Role

As Regional Marketing Manager ANZ, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our Health & Medical portfolio. With accountability for portfolio growth, profitability and marketing excellence, you will identify growth opportunities, optimise portfolio performance and ensure successful execution across brands, channels and customer segments.

Working within a highly collaborative matrix environment, you will influence key business decisions, contribute to regional and global initiatives, and build a high-performing team focused on delivering sustainable commercial outcomes and exceptional customer experiences.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute the ANZ marketing strategy, own and drive portfolio-level growth, delivering sales, gross profit and EBITA targets within agreed A&P budgets.

  • Translate global strategy into clear, actionable local plans that accelerate growth across channels and categories.

  • Ensure global brand, product and campaign assets are effectively adapted for local channels and customer requirements to drive efficient and impactful market execution.

  • Develop and execute promotional strategies and supporting materials in collaboration with Sales and key stakeholders to drive short‑ and mid‑term commercial outcomes.

  • Partner with Sales teams to strengthen demand generation, customer engagement and market execution.

  • Work closely with E-Commerce Manager to shape, execute and optimise the ANZ E-Commerce strategy, ensuring alignment with portfolio priorities, channel strategy, customer needs and profitable growth objectives across digital channels.

  • Champion deep customer, clinician and market understanding, ensuring insights inform strategy, innovation and execution.

  • Actively engage with key external stakeholders including KOLs, industry bodies, and strategic partners.

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing marketing team with a strong commercial and execution mindset.

  • Build a collaborative, cross-functional culture that aligns Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales and Operations around shared outcomes.

  • Raise the bar on analytical rigour, ROI discipline, and performance management across marketing investments.

  • Act as a senior management representative for ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems, ensuring marketing-led decisions align with regulatory and quality requirements.

Who You Are:

You are a commercially minded marketing leader who thrives on turning strategy into results. You bring a strong balance of strategic capability, analytical thinking and leadership experience, coupled with a passion for improving outcomes within healthcare or related industries.

You will bring:

  • Significant marketing leadership experience, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, MedTech or related industries.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated strong track record of delivering profitable growth in complex and evolving markets, portfolio management and successful innovation execution.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to link marketing investment to business performance.

  • Experience operating at enterprise level, influencing and aligning diverse cross-functional, regional and global stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Proven ability to lead, coach and drive high-performing teams, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Agile and adaptable leader who thrives in ambiguity, navigates complexity with confidence, and effectively manages competing priorities within matrix organization.

  • Resilient and decisive operator, capable of delivering in fast-paced environments.

  • Tech-savvy and digitally fluent, with a strong curiosity for emerging technologies and a demonstrated ability to leverage AI, data, and digital tools to enhance decision-making, customer engagement and business performance

  • A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel as required.

  • Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency with full working rights
