Working as part of our Australia/New Zealand team the Regional Aftersales Manager requires a strong operational knowledge of Automotive retail operations particularly those pertaining to service, parts and accessories, operations processes and disciplines within Aftersales, preferably with in-depth technical knowledge. This role will be integral to the process of implementing the region-specific aftersales plan, supporting the Grenadier and future vehicle lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure contractual setups with local aftersales partners are operating in line with KPI’s and agreed SLA’s
  • After Sales customer interface, being the initial point of contact for all service and parts related questions and act as first-responder and coordinator for the region
  • Safeguard regional parts availability, constantly monitor agent parts and accessory stock levels to ensure stock coverage at the retail partner matches requirements for maintenance and repair activities
  • Training and process improvement with the partner network
  • Identification of wider product issues and contingency plan roll-out in alignment with global technical support team
  • Monitor regional financial budgets including oversight of warranty costs

Qualifications:

  • Significant Aftersales and operational automotive experience, which could include vehicle manufacturer or wider motor trade experience
  • Recognised technical qualification or experience based equivalent
  • Broad experience, in many, if not all Automotive & Aftersales disciplines
  • Very strong drive for continuous improvement - a Kaizen mentality
  • Ability to work in both office and field-based teams with a customer focused and service excellence approach
  • The right candidate will preferably come from an automotive aftersales background, have strong analytical skills and be able to work to a very wide scope of expectations and wear many different hats
  • Regional travel required
